the valuation of these is all over the place. anywhere from 2800 to 7200 depending on which guide you look at.

The 383 cuda's have the same if not higher value than the Dart GTS. Some people just don't like B bodies, and the Duster/dart/cuda crowd is huge. especialy in a four speed 383. today 7500 is not a big deal at all.
all you have to do is look at the FABO site and see what people are wanting for trashed out regular valiants.3k-5k

UPDATE: I went back today & looked for the data plate. It was missing & the screw holes empty. So someone has removed it. The car is very rough. Every body panel except the roof & maybe the firewall/cowl needs replacement. At $7500 I’m walking. I’m not even going to make an offer. If the old man will let me I’ll get some pics & post them incase someone following this thread is interested. I’m on to the next adventure. BTW it looks like the car was originally black

Price is on the higher side but if its numbers matching that would be a huge plus. There was a beautiful patina black '67 383 4 speed 'S California car few years back at Carlisle sitting on a trailer in the swap meet for $7500. Supposed the block & trans sitting next to the car were the originals too but no VIN stamp to go by those years. That car imo was a steal.

Who know, if the man has the fender tag & has the complete #s matching drivetrain for it including the factory exhaust manifolds I dont think he's that far off. Theres definitely room to negotiate.

There was a rotted out (torsion bar crossmember gone) '68-'69 Dart GTS 383 4 speed last year a few hours away. Supposedly numbers matching. Think it sold for $5k
