    I didn’t put this in the for sale area because I am not sure if this poor car has any hope of seeing the road again.

    1968 Chrysler 300 convertible. Originally Red car with white top. 440 big block, automatic, a/c, power steering and brakes. This is a complete project, doesn't run or drive. I purchased the car over 10 years ago in it's current condition. This car is one of just over 2100 produced, rare find. $2000.00 text or call 8.6.5.7.0.5.6.5.2.5 cash only, no scammers will be taken seriously.
    NEED THIS CAR GONE!!

    Lots of rust on the lower quarter radii, If it sat out for ten years, there is probably not much left of the floors and the engine is probably stuck tight. Too bad as these were really nice cars in their day. Most likely going to wind up a parts car for another vert restoration. Probably worth the asking price if the frame and underside is still solid or if the engine is still free.

    Why buy a car to just sit for 10 years in the yard?

    If the seller is dumb enough to think adding this text to his ad will ward-off the "scammers", they're surely dumb enough to let a car sit on grass for 10 years.

    Go for it. If that’s the worst mistake I ever make then I am working with a clear conscience.

    Clear your cache and cookies, Joey's standard answer. Give it a try, usually does the trick.

    Ummm... You do realize that this car doesn't belong to @Joseph James , right?

    "Oho!" said the pot to the kettle;
    "You are dirty and ugly and black!
    Sure no one would think you were metal,
    Except when you're given a crack."

    "Not so! not so!" kettle said to the pot;
    "'Tis your own dirty image you see;
    For I am so clean – without blemish or blot –
    That your blackness is mirrored in me."

    Sad...bet it was really eye-catching when new with the white top over red paint.

    I put it in GD because I figured there is no way anyone here would even consider purchasing that car. Just a sad commentary on those people who have a car sitting in their yard they are “going to fix up one day.” They usually won’t sell to a passerby who stops and offers fair money who actually would restore it. Instead, it rusts away. I know because I have been one of the passerby to offer $$$.

    I typically avoid social media because there is always one (or a clique) looking to pick a fight or be a hall monitor. This site is my one exception to socializing online. So, I just brush it off and keep moving. The worst can happen is a ban hammer for posting in the wrong area. That’s also why I use my real name-it makes me think about what I am going to post and curbs any temptation to poor behavior on my part. Plus, I have never seen an Internet forum argument have a positive outcome.

    No apologies, you did it right. This was a targeted discussion about the final result of "going to fix it up one day" failures.
    Your posts have always been level headed and concise, others, not so much.
