Another,AnotherAnother,Another 1961 FURY

Cool! Can someone explain the HIFI option please.
As far as I know it’s a just a rear speaker option.
According to brochure rca record player only available with HIFI
My 61 has 2 rear speakers
I have another 61 that has only 1 rear deck speaker?
Brochure says you get one speaker?

The cryco ones are export 61s
The Plymouth ones were domestic.
The 61 speaker grilles have studs that mount
to rear deck where the 62s have the holes hat screw on top.

Did some power washing on Belvedere.
Found NO rust holes in trunk floor!!!!!
It’s a SS1 paint code lavender metallic.
A early version of plum crazy.
Solid wheel lips

Sadly my new arrival car inspection cat has has passed on at age 16. She would always circle new arrivals for hours looking for friends.

Its always hard to see an old friend go. Time to get another one.

That Fury is pretty nice with straight body panels, minimal rust down low in the rockers that is usual on those models and very complete.

So very sorry for your loss, sir. As an animal lover myself, I know how difficult it is. Regards

So sorry to hear of your friends demise Ken. I lost mine a couple of years ago and still miss her.
On a lighter note.... That violet color on the 61 Plymouth is my personal favorite. I even considered doing my convertible in it.

My plans for violet 61 Belvedere are
61 413 from imperial.

A 61 3 speed manual with hurst yo-yo floor shifter

A 62 2x4 300 H inline intake/carbs.

Max Wedge cast iron headers/exhaust.

Radio,heater,lighter delete.

Manual brakes,steering
with 15 inch body colored 61 police rims
61 poverty caps. 3.31 sure grip.
The body and floors are pretty good to start and I have everything on list to fastrack build.
Will be starting a new build thread.

Miles ahead of the game not having to replace rusty floors, and rockers. That metallic lavender will look killer. I like the 413. Nick's garage is building a 413 for a client for his 1963 chrysler 300 J long ram intake. Nick's garage youtube

I have been working on this one for awhile. A 61 4dr post Fury.
It’s hit pretty hard at A pillar door hinge area. Has a wealth of needed parts.
Nice driver condition Aero wheel.
Usable red dash pad
Solid trunk lid,hood,1/4 panels.
Good running 318 poly motor.
