was looking at the original sales brochure for my 68 Fury today ....the real big multi page one...and every single car in there, right down to the fury I's had whitewalls on it

Yes, that is black spray paint over the whitewall on the front... tire is ng anyway..

Depends on your preference of course. Those cars were meant to have a moderate white wall by that year (not the really wide whites from earlier years). I prefer white where it was appropriate from factory. Do what you think is best.

Not sure if you can see, but mine has thin white walls. I prefer them to black walls on this particular car.
