TCM right now. That's all, just thought you all should know.

Yup, I caught it too. Turned it on right before the car chase. Dropped everything that I was doing, sat down in my recliner and watched it until the very end where he's looking at himself in the mirror.

My man cave surround sound is amazing in 7 channel DTS (Digital Theater Sound) mode especially during the car chases.

It'd been a while since I watched it so when I came across it 20 minutes in I knew I wasn't going anywhere.

Got it on DVD, have to throw it in once again. By the way name is Bullitt, sorry Matt pet peeve of mine.
Anything arrived yet at your place btw ?

Thanks Klaus, my little German spellchecker!
nothing yet, whose the shipper?

I could watch that movie back to back and still notice things I didn't before, plus its such a cool, hip flick. I wonder what Ford guys think about Bullit.

They sit around and get into fist fights on how many original Bullitt Mustangs were made, destroyed, and remain.
Every one of them swear they know a guy with a Bullitt movie car #8 rotting in a field.

I watched it last night too. I noticed it was on and only missed the first 5 minutes. Great movie, never tire of the chase scene.

Years ago, it was on local broadcast TV, and I taped it on my trusty VHS VCR. Yes, kids, that's how we recorded things back in the old days! Mine never flashed "12:00", though. Anyway, I had gone through the chase scene so many times that it ended up pretty blurry and looking like it was being broadcast through a swimming pool!

I've had the DVD now for several years. It never gets old. And, notice Robert Vaughn looks like he hasn't aged much at all, while all the other principals in the movie (except Jacqueline Bisset) are dead now.
