C bodies in motion thread

I met up with @LocuMob in Dubuque, IA at Mopars on the Mississippi yesterday, and took some pics on while on Route 20. Lots of turns and scenic views along the way. Made some final preparations before loading up and hitting the roar on the 150 mile ride.

^^^Did you head up towards Lansing, Iowa? I was up in that area three years ago. Anywhere along the Mississippi is a fantastic drive. Popped over to the Wisconsin side for a bit before gong back into Iowa at the Lansing crossing. A beautiful bridge connects WI and IA at that point.

Took Medina, my 1971 Monaco, to say goodbye to a friend today. On the highway, I passed this B-body Pontiac of the 1977-1986 generation (if I had to guess, from the taillights I'd say a 1977 Bonneville or Parisienne). The driver waved and we trekked together for a good dozen miles before our roads split. Pardon the splattered bugs on the windshield, the Midwestern corn and soybean fields are full of critters this time of the year.

Not quite a C, but all mopes are fun! Returning from a cruise tonight, perfect weather here in SW PA...

I drove through Illinois and Indiana on what turns out to have been the last nice day of a beautiful fall week, and I visited @david hill on the way. Here are photos taken from my car in Illinois and Indiana -- yes, it is David's superb, numbers-matching 1969 Chrysler 300 convertible in front.

I'd rather see the whole car, than see what you're looking at while driving. Can we get a shot of your car to look at?

@71Polara383 and I met (too briefly) today. We had the same idea and exchanged pics afterwards of his 1971 GF3 Polara and my 1972 GY4 NYB.
