Just curious, I tried to fire up my 69 Fury before installing the dash or steering column. It appears to be dead. The ignition is still hooked up and the engine bay is also complete. Thoughts?

First off, if the dash is out, the ammeter is disconnected and there will not be power to start the car. Second, depending on where the shift linkage is positioned, you may not have a completed circuit to engage the starter solenoid. The shift linkage arm on the transmission must be in neutral or park to engage the starter solenoid.
