He said the Pistons are from a Cat Diesel. Yes I have a local guy who is buying much of the stuff. Do you need anythingi like the piston feet on that one , its a nice touch . and your parting that 64 what model ?
Nope.i've got a 64 300 . always looking for trim . not the same although .
Anyone who has an interest. A 64 Chrysler couch is kinda neat I think. I may have one built. Before I do anything I'd go visit his shop. Look at some of his workI have never seen one done like his, with the rear ends conjoined. This allows for alot more artist creativity/functionality. It also takes away from the "Car feel". This is coming from a guy who is a full fledged cabinet/furniture maker, Carguy and hate to admit it, but, jack of all trades, who has been thinking of this for along time. Thanks for posting. Also could you clarify your question? Are we C bodies only members interested? Or just the general public? I believe this is a "niche product" however if executed properly, will appeal to a larger crowd.
So you are doing this yourself or having it doneI also built a 65 Sunbeam Tiger "couch", (rear section). It was finished in BRG w/biscuit interior.
Still looking for a picture.
