Thanks.I had mine ceramic coated, they claim lower temps. I did not record the exhaust manifold temps before being coated, but after at idle, if I remember, were around 240-260. Around 2500 rpms, I think they were around 330-360 degrees. Stock manifolds on my 383.
This ones a keeper, if it goes I go with it.I put on ceramic coated headers on my 67 Fury III when I completed the 440 swap, big difference in the amount of heat given off and they look sharp. Worth the money if it's a car you'll be keeping for a while.
I will not swear by it, but I believe I paided 260 for the pair. It was an extra 60 because I had them coated in gray, not black.
The inside is also done on my manifolds. I had a buell back in the day and had the exhaust header coated by Jet Hot, it blued almost instantly.I had the inside coated as well.
