I recently changed out the master cylinder and made a video. I'm not much of a videographer and my equipment is sub-part, but I enjoy watching the videos posted and thought others might, too. Also, I am looking for feedback. If you want to correct something I've done or provide some logic I seem unclear about, please do not hesitate to post that. I am, above all, wanting to learning how to keep these dinosaurs on the road without the integrity of the beast suffering.

3/8 is smaller than 10mm so it doesn’t fit.

.019" difference...

A worn 12 point will probably work... or a cheap cast socket that was sloppy to begin with might work too. A good, forged 6 point? Probably not...

I’ve tried it for years it doesn’t work with professional tools, snap-on Mac Matco, etc.

maybe with the cheap tools it fits.

I worked at a new car dealership that used 3/8" sockets to fasten the 10mm license plate bolts. I'm sure that you are right, and they were cheapo sockets.
