Chrysler Marine

6-71 and 8-71 blower cases have the same foot print , the chysler was easy , hotheads (nice design tall drop wedged into runners ) , not sure if i'm going with a delta shaped opening or rectangle yet . the desoto we're making it from pieces very similar to the hotheads intake , but the markey bros's ran a 291 de-stroked to 260 for class , that manifold is steel . charlie markey is a great guy . and is always helping , so its not a problem seeing what works . their 260 @ 30lbs boost made a thousand hp's on fuel @ 8500 he likes desoto's . my desoto heads and cam is a match to the markey's setup . i'm not going the fuel root . e85 or gas , e85 is going to be a sanctioned type fuel for bonny . and that means new class , new records setting names n mph/times . if your into seeing your name in print , lol . long as its not an obituary , lol ! and 200 is a record on e85 or gas .

seeing that hemi , makes me think superchsrger , lol . just sent a vintage littlefeild 8-71 off to my blower guy . he;s a old timer rudy petra in waterloo , iowa . found him awhile back , he done several 4-71s n 6-71s and now a few 8-71s . woundfull racer , got a lung thing from being below decks on a carrier . he says '' about three hours a day before he's got to rest , like three on n three off deal . man this guy has top fuel in his vanes . introrush was is email tag . he is in traitor pull country . but he's done with them guys he said . so i have him do freashen ups as long as he can . the main gig for these 8-71s is the salt project . but who knows one might make it on to a hemi fied gasser . i'll miss him , he is a great guy n a straight shooter as well . time is short for him , as it can be for all . so don't cry , live it , and lol all you can , so lol !
