Beautiful car, your customer has got to be happy with that.

Love it. I remember watching Gold Finger, thinking what a waste when they crushed the cool suicide door Lincoln. Very nice work.

Are you accepting cars earlier than 2019 :D

Looks great Glenn.

Do you do rotisserie work and how did you strip that car?

I do not have a rotisserie yet, Ill get one once I have the official shop building done, not my four car garage. I mostly do drivers or driver quality cars, so most guys arent picky on how shiny the floor boards are. As for stripping, depends on the car and the previous paint. If Im working on an aluminum bodied Rolls or Bentley I use air craft stripper. I also have to use air craft stripper for old paint jobs done in EMRON. Everything else I use 36 grit discs on a 7inch grinder, then go up in grits from there.

Nice work....I live about 800 miles away with a 78 NYB that needs paint and some bodywork.

If you look closely, it had five paint jobs over the years. Thats why cars need to be stripped if you want nice results.

how do you eliminate surface rust within the firewall, like the wiper arm assembly area?

All the rust removal/convertor chemicals I use come from http://www.hirschauto.com/

Look under Miracle paint/chemicals section.

For the cowl area, where the wiper mechanism is .... I would just dump the stuff in there and work it around or brush the rust encapsulator paint on it until its dripping out the rocker area. Mask the floor vent area closed though.

:-) Yeah it would be a waste of tape and paper. Use that sealer paint everywhere. Its great!! It has no UV protection so it has to be top coated with some other paint if its going to be exposed for any amount of time.
