do you have or add a coolant expansion tank?

Since there is air in the old radiator systems without the Burp bottle and no air in the radiator with the burp bottle is there any difference in cooling efficiency in the real world?
Does air in the radiator cause more deterioration compared to a system with no air in the rad?

I will have to check it out whenever i get my car back from the body shop...
 
I have used these on my Newport, my son's Gremlin, and on the New Yorker I used to own. They work well, fit in tight places, and are not that expensive. You can get them at hot rod shops. I bought them at the "Street Rod Nationals" that happened in Bakersfield every year.

By the way, with that underflow my car passed pre-race inspection at Famoso Raceway.
