Fan Belt Idler Pulley

I don’t know if this is new info or not. I needed a new belt idler pulley for my 65 Sport Fury 318 poly and saw repops going for 60 bucks.Went to see my parts guy (the kind that has been around since before computers).We took measurements of the old pulley and found dayco 89035 works great.Had to round the d shaped hole in bracket and use a bolt and nut.Not factory but for 20 bucks All is good!

They ARE still out there, just have to look past the chain stores for the "embedded" old-line auto supplies to find them. They knew the value of an old parts book, too!
