Hey guys, I have a switch on the floor shift mechanism of Bob's Chrysler 300 here and I cant find the female plug wire for it. The switch is engaged/disengaged when you have it in park. It doesn't have anything to do with the neutral switch because the car starts without it.
Anyone able to tell me what it is for?

Ok I understand better now. The aftermarket shifters (B&M) have a switch similar & when disconnected the car will start in any gear. Connect it & it will only start in parts

Hmm, exactly what the neutral switch on the gearbox does?

That's a reverse light switch.

Cars 68 and older have them on the shifter and 69 and newer have them on the trans as part of the neutral safety switch.
