I just pulled the dry rotted carpet out of my 300, this is what I found. Looks relay good and solid, couple of minor suface areas, nothing to worry about. The underneath has been undercoated and it is still solid, just peeling off in a couple spots. No rust! Does look it was hit on pass side at bottom of door and beside wheel well opening. Body fill. I did remove the tank filler neck and looked in the tank, still has fuel in it but I can see rust cankers all in side. Going to need a tank. Was also told it needed brakes, finally pulled rear drums, looks like new shoes and all hdwr has been changed. New wheel cylinders, drums look real good! All hoses look new to. Havnt pulled front drums yet. Will neednew master cylinder, its leaking, dont know about the booster yet. Getting closer all the time to road ready!
