Fuel line upgrade

Just putting this out there. I am upgrading my 5/16th line to 3/8. Right Stuff Detail can make the factory bent lines from the tank to the k frame rail and also the one that goes through the frame rail. Next the hard part, finding a sending unit with a 3/8 line. FOUND IT. 521 Restorations out of Colorado. So far I have received the sending unit in a very timely fashion now just waiting for the line. Updates when I'm done.

What mandated a larger fuel line?

Not a hard job to do. I have replaced fuel lines many times in the past. When you upgrade to the new lines you will also need to replace the line retainers as the old ones will not fit. Inline tube has them, and the lines in 3/8 if you have problems with the company you have chosen.
