Fuel pressure regulator

On my 66 NY 440 4V it has a unit between the fuel pump and the carb it reads chrysler corp fuel pressure regulator but dont see anyway to adjust also the unit has a glass sediment bowl on the bottom do i need that?

Dealer installed accessory. No, you don't need it.

What carb are you running and have you tested the fuel pressure? Carter/Edelbrock carbs don't like more that 5# and Holley's more than about 7#.

it has the original carter afb 4v

I haven't checked the fuel pressure
