I know there used to be a gasket between the brake booster bracket and firewall. Is that something I can find online or is there another material I can get and cut to fit?

Have the new bracket that matches up with a booster. Image is the old one.

I bought white foam envelopes that is a duplicate of the original material and costs so much less, the five pack of A4 sized envelopes was only a couple of bucks.

I will add one more source for future reference. They are great to work with and have a large inventory and also make custom gaskets if you have something to use as a template.

That gasket's there for noise isolation and for sealing against intrusion of underhood air into the passenger compartment. Even normal gasket material and some high-heat black silicone smeared over it can work too.

More of a dust shield. Usually termed "paint" something. I trace and cut them out of the dense white poly foam bags that TV's and such come in, since that stuff seems to last well.
