So many memories of the Eagles in the seventies. Desperado, Doolin Dalton. I remember driving out of town in my buddies Monte Carlo blowin on a reefer to One of these Nights on his new Craig Pioneer. They also did a great job of Tom Wait's Ol 55

Lemmy, Bowie, and Frey got most of the headlines, but in addition to those and Jimmy Bain, January 2016 also cost us Mott the Hoople's drummer (Dale Griffin) and Gary Loizzo, the sound engineer and producer who worked with REO Speedwagon and was the "6th member" of Styx for decades . And he fronted his own band (American Breed) before that. Even if you hate their music, the sound he recorded with Styx was incredible. He was to them what Jeff Glixman was to Kansas and Bill Szymczyk was to The Eagles (and the James Gang, and Joe Walsh) in that era.
