I decided to ride the 45 miles over to Gibbs salvage yard today. I have been buying stuff there for several years but haven't been in some time.

Gibbs is one of the most unorganized, weed covered, steep hill and rutted road yards I have ever been in. But there are lots of treasures there and winter is really the only time of year to go.

Here are a few pic's I shot around the place.

All the A/C stuff I needed for the Admiral including a compressor and clutch that turns free. The vacuum amplifier, and a coolant recovery bottle for Jazebelle.

I also got what I think is a fan shroud for a mid 60's C body. The two piece metal type. Anyone recognize it.......?

yes it's for a range of years and many engines up to 68. Would be correct for my 68 Coronet if you don't use it I'd be interested

It's for a 22" rad btw .. did you pull it? Did you get the attaching hardware/bolts/nuts also?

I love places like that!

Once again Will... You suck!

I was wrong last night Will. The fan shroud is a 65-68 C body only .. not the same as the B body version.

Should have below part numbers which should also be what Peter has

2524 936: Fan shroud, upper, Fury/Polara/Chrysler, 8-cyl
2449 958: Fan shroud, lower, Fury/Polara/Chrysler, 8-cyl

Thanks for researching this Bryan. I was about to post the numbers you came up with.
This shroud is correct for 1966/67/68 C-body's with 22" radiator. Dante's has the attaching hardware available.
If anyone here is interested, let me know before it hits ebay.

The 7 blade fan, spacer and pulley are there also, I may ride back over and get them today.

Fan and shroud and sometimes 26" rad was also part of performance axle packages in B bodies so perhaps C's?

I'm going to have to make a tour list of "good" C-body junkyards across the country to take side trips while touring the country when I retire.
