Got me a station wagon!

I moved to Armada in 85, then FL in 2003.
My family owned Shores Heating Co at Bayside and Harper, just north of Maloofs.
Grandfather built that building in 1961, where Subway is now.
I was back a couple moths ago, it's changed a lot. Pat O Brien's is the same, the result was the same anyhow. :D

Lots of work but it's coming around nicely.

New passenger side exhaust manifold and front calipers which all had to be cut off with a grinder. New front bumper and got the adhesive from the lettering cleaned off the body. Now it just needs some paint work and to be wheeled out.

Me too. And I can leave here at sunrise and get there by lunchtime.
Try this place for a quicker visit....

Been a number of years for me... but I understand they have good rates except for the seafood festival...

Some friends of mine rented their fish camp travel trailer to the production of this movie down there.

It wasn't that good... but had a few neat scenes... their run down travel trailer was made to look more rundown for the picture and then they cleaned it up and gave it back... I think the rental covered their purchase and lot rent for a year or so in Chokoloskee close to the museum. I understand the place started to get snotty about old rigs and they sold it off and quit going there. Knew another couple who went there too, they have both passed some time ago... never cared about fishing, but I enjoyed a few cold ones on those gorgeous barstools.
