Headers

What headers are you guys running? I'm starting to put together my motor upgrade and i know some fit and some require a lot of modifications. As far as them being either short/mid/long tubes I haven't really decided.

For what engine? A lot more options for big blocks than small blocks I believe.

I'm running Schumacher tri-Y's on a 400-based 451 stroker. They're sort of a mid-length and they went in pretty easily I'd say. They're also compatible with the angled plugs on Edelbrock heads.

I have ran Hooker super comps and Hedmans on my 65 with a 440, either one had minor clearancing .
Dougs D452 headers needed 3 out of 4 tubes on the right side re worked.

Yeah I don't want to rework anything. I'm sure if I do long tubes I'll have to work them up from underneath

Edit- The headers that worked for my car were B body headers. not sure the model numbers though.
I run a 3" TTI system, nice stuff for sure.
