Heading to AZ in January

We defiantly have to hook up! Let me know your schedule when it gets closer.
Maybe he would have time to hit the Pavillions. Maybe pizza lunch on Thursday?

A bit of advice when meeting with Chris, check your bumper.:D
My itinerary so far, and about as refined as I can probably get it... Friday the 18th, I'm going to BJ with my brother and hope to meet up with Chris. Saturday and Sunday, I'm letting my brother run the show... should be in Chandler. Monday the 21st, I'm doing a junkyard crawl, solo mission, then I'm checking in to the Courtyard Marriott Phoenix West/Avondale for the week, I should be finished at work around 5pm everyday. IDK how my lunches will be though, right now I don't even know who will be training me. Then a weekend to spend with my father, probably around Benson.

Family stuff kinda gets in the way of doing things I'd really like to, like a visit to Steve @saforwardlook ...

When are you in Avondale and when in Chandler Jeff? Your hotel in Avondale is only about 20 minutes from me. Chandler is the other side of the valley from me. 45-an hour away. Local Junkyards are in the middle.

You would certainly be very welcome to come and see my place if possible. It ususally surprises all who visit.
Hope you can fit one in your schedule.

Steve

Avondale Monday through Thursday nights... Friday I'll head back to Chandler after returning the company funded rental.

If you're in Avondale the whole week of the 14th let me know if you have any free time that week. I'm really close so we could do a dinner or something.

Dinner sounds like a huge win for me. I'm not much for the night life, and worse, I doubt I will adjust my sleep clock 2 hours before I have to come home.

I assume you're flying out to AZ? How are you going to get any parts back east if you find any?
Last trip I bought a $10 suitcase at Goodwill and shipped home a loaded booster, and rear rotors off a 75 Imperial... TSA left little "We were here" notes in my luggage for the first time that trip.

Fly and drive Carlisle, I shipped home the cheap cube cooler full of parts as checked luggage at the airport. Frontier didn't even charge me an oversize fee with the package I had purchased.

This time around, IDK what, if anything will have to come home. I can probably put my brother out enough to help if necessary.

I've got a bunch of huge sheets of cardboard. We can box them up at my place and ship them home for him.
I truly appreciate the offer. I will try not to take too much advantage, since the yards will package and ship too.

BTW, my brother has gotten some wires crossed and now wants to go to BJ Saturday. It seems he has tickets to watch the Penguins on Friday. So I'm going to Phoenix from Orlando to watch Pittsburgh hockey... :realcrazy:

The problem with going to BJ on Saturday is the crowd. It's wall to wall people. Fridays are pretty good in the morning and early afternoon. We get there at 8:00 when the gates open and usually leave around 2-3 pm. As we're leaving we feel like salmon swimming upstream through all the people arriving. Either way it's a great show, just a little too peopley sometimes.

Last time Gail and I flew into Phoenix for the B.J. Auction AIR FORCE ONE WITH GEORGE W ON BOARD waz descending on a parallel runway out the Port window right beside us. Talk about bad timing and ah screwed up Air Port? Have fun Catnip, we'll expect ah full report on your play time, Jer

I want to go to B-J before I get too old. I might even drive there since I'm retired and dont have a time schedule as anymore except for med appts.
