anyone have any leads or advice for finding hood insulation for a '69 polara?

You'll need one of these too.

I test fitted my 1978 NYB insulation pad....same as the old one....mounting clips holes line up.

I spoke with REM Automotive recently and they are working on one. They should be available soon.

That is correct. They've been ready to go for a little while now. Since we don't sell direct to the end user - just contact your favorite reseller to order. Tell them when ordering that "DOD-MHI-105" is the Polara part number for them to use. CHY-MHI-105 is the Chrysler part number.

Welcome to FCBO REMsales.

Thanks!

Here are some real quick photos I grabbed out in the warehouse. Front and back sides of it as well as a shot showing the profile of the pad.

"front" - the visible side when installd

"back" - this is the side that goes up against the hood. The 5 "pieces" would nest inside the metal hood bracing.
