HP Manifold advise

A Formal with Ram-Air. I love it.

Not to change the subject, but I see a cold air intake duct in the above pic.

Was this standard in the formal era? Does it route to the 'void' between the fender and the radiator core support? pics?

Thanks! I'm going to look into outfitting my fusie with one of these for some air supply that hasn't already passed through the radiator.
Intake will route around the core support though. No hole cutting!
 
Can I have a short sidebar here? The 442 ram air got me thinking about air cleaners back in the day. Hands down best ever air cleaner housing ever..

The driver's side is not a log. From 75-78 All C bodies used the Late version HP manifold on the drivers side for sure (look at Commando's pic for ref). I think for steering clearance.

They were not a swoopy as the musclecar era HPs and are heavier, but they are not logs. The passenger side on the 75-78 were logs. So the real benefit would be to get an HP passenger side and leave it at that in my opinion.

They flow pretty well, actually.

Here's a pic of RB log manifolds from a 440...you can see the difference.

this is my 67 300 440 tnt factory setup , and my yellow one with a 440 tnt in it . the silver one 440 tnt manifolds wrong year engine . hope that helps .
