The cigarette lighter was dead, and I found it had a bad ground. Once that was resolved I realized the tabs inside were rusty and broke off. Lucky we share the same cigarette lighter with the Mopar "muscle" so they make a replacement.

Nothing much but it is nice to check things off the list.

I normally never connect the wire to the lighter. If the element gets jambed in for some unknown reason it can/has created a serious fire hazard. But now days, with the constant need for recharging something, I just leave the element out of the socket and loose in the ash receiver.
