I voted

Same thing here.
And when you do try to get trespassing charges filed against them you become the problem. You're called a Ra.....

Mostly military, local police, county sheriff, state police, FBI, CIA and government civilians and contractors living in my community. There's a few people outside that realm. One guy has his own baked goods company and another guy makes some sort of electrical switch for the miliary from his house. There are a couple of others too.

Even with all the marked and unmarked police cars in the community and the no solicitation signs.....it doesn't slow down the intruders at all.

View attachment 224099 Early voting began here in NC yesterday. So this morning I went & did my civic duty. I truely was beaming with pride when I walked out & headed for my van. Proud I have the right to do this.
I've recently been punished for voting...

I suppose this answers the questions about my intelligence... "...12 people not smart enough to get out of jury duty."

Here in Maryland you are on the jury pool selection through the Motor Vehicle Administration (driver license and state ID) because they have a more accurate and up to date address of the people's in the state. If voting was tied in to jury duty..... no one would vote. Most people drive or need a state ID and that's how they get you in a jury pool.

Yep I think that’s how they do it here in NC too. DMV/vehicle tax records. I’ve moved a few times over the years & got jury duty letters before I voted. But I had paid my yearly vehicle tax to get my tag.

Been a year now since I sat on a jury. Two weeks of witnesses and evidence. Five minutes deliberation. Guilty, murder 1st degree, life with no chance. Interesting as hell and all these CSI shows are Hollywood fiction.

Five minutes? Surprised the Judge didn't send you back, that would be a basis for a appeal.
Afterward the jury gets to talk to the judge, prosecutor and defense. Judge’s first comment? “What took you so long”?

I have had the pleasure of serving jury duty twice. First was a criminal case, the second a civil matter against the City of Chicago. It must have been my poker face as half way thru both trials the defendant, and the city gave in. Met some very nice ladies during the trials, and got paid for it.

The last time I got called for jury duty, it was a firearms case, they asked me if I belonged to the NRA or any other pro 2nd amendment groups. I was happy to answer that I was a life member (NRA). They said my services were not needed on this type of case and dismissed me. That was ten years ago and I haven't been called since. Go figure.

I may have to use that next time.

Oh I don't think I could have put up with 2 weeks. The 2 days I did do... sucked. The understudies ran the show for both the state and public offender... with the senior persons seemingly unconcerned.

It did prove one thing to me, if ever faced with serious jail time, don't use the public defender... but I knew that already. IDK why this one went to trial in the first place. I did get to hear way too much information about one of the most miserable couples I've ever come across.

I've always thought it was tied to voter registration... which the DMV does try to register you when you get your license changed.

Two years of (R)epublican control and not one bill to repeal any gun control.
As a Canadian observer I'll suggest that the Republican party has a long way to go in it's transformation away from globalism back towards economic nationalism. In Canada we had to start a new party because our traditional conservative party has moved too far left i.e. supports carbon taxation. Here is a link if you are interested.
People's Party of Canada
a RACIST. look at poor Megyn Kelly. (never thought i'd say that!)
Don't feel sorry for her. The left are ruthless in purging their own.

Here in Canada I would just wear a Mad Max t-shirt.

Relevance?

Basically if the jury doesn't stay out long on a serious case and go over all the evidence it would be considered that they didn't do they're job properly and would be a basis for an appeal, especially if the defendant is black. It would be considered (an I'd be careful on my words here) that the jury had already made up it's mind before deliberations.

Get it?
