Hi guys and happy new year.

This year starts fine for me cause i solved an issue with my 70 monaco 440.
Car started and died in seconds and did not start again.

After a lot of mesurments it was.....

... the condenser. That was new.
We put the old one back and car started before we turned the key !

So my question is : i searched the repair manual and did not find anything about this condenser.
I want to buy a good one to put it in the glovebox.

What can i choose ? Can i choose anything i want ? What are the values ?
Is there a brand you can recommand me ?

I do not want to buy another new faulty one !

Thanks !

About 1/3rd of new condensers made in china are defective right out of the box. This is what you will get at Auto-bone or Car-crap. You are probably better off with sourcing new old stock US made units. Other suppliers, such as O'Reilly's have ones made in Mexico which are a lot better than china junk. As noted Halifax shops should be able to supply a quality unit.
