I am replacing the intake manifold on a 400 with an aluminum piece. I have never used anything but the factory metal valley pan piece over the past 40 years with no issues. However as I was going through some gaskets I have I realized I have 7 or 8 sets of regular fiber intake gasket sets. This made me wonder if I have been doing it wrong for all these years. Would like to hear your thoughts.
