Joe Cocker has passed

Died today, 22 Dec. I liked his music a lot. He just finished a European tour, and died in London. He was a resident of Crawford, Colorado, where he owned a ranch and restaurant. He was also active in local fundraising and politics. Good guy.

I remember seeing Joe Cocker play at the "Concert on the Green" during the 1980's at the Munchener Olympiastadion in Munich, Germany. It was built and used for the 1972 Olympics. It was billed during it's day as the first super concert in Europe with 24 hours of music. I believe there was 80,000 people there....a lot of GI's. Joe Cocker rocked! It was very cool!!!
