Lets Play A Game: Last Of The Convertibles

I like that color combo. Sure as hell beats white/cream/yellow with the green interior!

I happen to like the seventies yellow/green combos, but there’s no accounting for my tastes…

Thanks to @71Polara383 we have the fender tag for DL27T0D108197 -- a 1970 FF4 green Polara 'vert. The car has been repainted in the original color, the top has been replaced in the original color (but thanks to @polara71 we know that the bow is not correct), and the interior is not original (and sports incorrect front seats).

SBD was August 20, 1969. This is the same build date as DL27L0D108181 (listed as Jon's parts cars in @polara71 's 2008 directory, an FY6 Polara ragtop that had been repainted green), and a day ahead of DL27L0D109102 (another FY6 Polara 'vert that sold last year in CA -- the FCBO page for the sale seems to have been removed).

The present car (DL27T0D108197) is currently for sale at the Iowa/Illinois border.

Nice car. Checks all the right boxes: 440 Big block, A/C. Speed Control, convertible. Even the washer bottle appears to be intact.

Dave: @polara71 Are you planning an Iowa road trip?

I think yer gonna hafta go and buy yer car back. . .

The offer is out there. I'm not sure what to do beyond that. The story alone is that of best selling novels. You'd think that and the offer of more than twice of what I sold it for would do it.
No!

One more 1970 Dodge Polara convertible has surfaced, and this EF8 Dark Green metallic / L2F4 green bench / V1W white top 'vert is in great shape.

DL27L0D205523 is currently for sale in Hilton, NY.
