Long live the Admiral.

I spent most of the day salvaging what little I could from the Admiral. There's not much left and I need to get the car gone, (out of sight, out of mind). I wish I could keep the engine but don't want to pull it. It ran sweet. Also a complete good tailgate that will go to scrap unless someone needs it.
I'll list what I have in the parts for sale. Not looking for a lot of money, just would like the stuff to go to a good cause.

:( Best of luck with the part out. Sorry again that you are going through this.

Will,
I now this isn't one that was on your wish list, but I couldn't resist posting it. I've always liked them and wouldn't mind having one.

THIS IS AN EARLY 74 WITH FULL REMOVABLE ROOF. 318 RUNS GOOD. SE OPTION WITH AM-FM AND FACTORY TACH. NEW INTERIOR CARB TIRES SHOCKS AND HAVE A SET OF NEW FACTORY FENDERS. STILL RETAINS FACTORY PAINT. TRUCK IS FROM OUT WEST. CALL 440-537-3036

The Admiral was destroyed in a crash a few weeks back. I haven't giving much thought to it until just recently. I know what Ellie would say ..... Replace it ! So it's time to move on with this.
Not likely going to find a direct replacement. It would need to be a 69 or 70 Custom suburban. small block, A/C, in drive home condition. And I would discount any green, brown or gold cars. baring any extreme good luck, it's not likely to turn up anytime soon.
So I've expanded my search to a 1972-82 Dodge 1500 or 2500 club cab pickup, or a 65-70 A100 or A108 travco van. Must be a V8 auto as it will need to tow Connie. A/C a plus.
If I have to I will put the hitch back on Jazabelle and tow Connie to Carlisle that way.
If anyone here crosses paths with one of the above..... let me know, will travel for a drive home vehicle.

I came across this website, I hope you find what you're looking for.

Dodge A100

I looked quick and found this one but it's only a slant six. Do you remember Piedmont Airlines? It looks like they've up'd the suspension in the back so maybe they've lowered the gears too. It might do fine towing Connie.

If that is the truck, then it's at least a 2009, but the door badging leads me to believe it is an '11. The 09/10 didn't have 1500 on the doors.

Hopefully it comes with a football field to turn it around in, although a mildly slick road will work too. :steering:

I don't notice turning the d300 being too bad. Doesn't turn as sharp as my 03 Ram, but not terrible. Although I havnt had a trailer hooked up to it yet.

We could match! lol they are fun trucks! Parts pretty easy to get as well.

I'm jes gonna thro' this out there to all the group and see what stickz to the wall. Haz ANYONE EVER come up with a front end replacement for BEAM axle and suspension for the A-100+108 line of Brickz 'N Barn doorz we all know and love?
