Trying to find these wire hold down clips for my 66 Polara. They measure 2-7/8 center to center. I have looked at most every Mopar site I can find to no avail.
I saw something on a chevy site that looked right. But does anyone know a Mopar source? Battery Tray 3 .JPG
Also...does anyone know what this decal was, and if it's available?

Decal was emissions tag, the clips can be bought from most of the major resto companies or eBay

We had a whole discussion on those wire clips a year or so ago on this site.
Mine were exactly like yours. I could only find that exact style in white. The black ones that are out there work but the relief loops go up instead of down. We also discovered that they varied from manufacturing plants and years.

I still think there is nothing quite like the originals. The ones I bought don't really fit right, I have a 66 300.

I am planning to make a mold out of my good ones. I will post here when I have done this. I will be able to make them black and the right amount of elasticity. You will be able to remove them without worry of damaging them.

The originals are different from the reproductions out there now - which are based on the later versions.

Gary Goers did reproduce the originals, but his business has been bought by someone (can't remember whom), and I'm not sure if they're offered.

I grabbed a bunch over the years as a stash from wrecking yards.

I think it's @QQE that picked up Gary Goers' leftovers.

Uh, respectfully, No. You can't. Not from any Mopar only resto company You can get them for '69 and up. They're white (some are black) and way too short. Or the reliefs are wrong. I thought I saw some GM ones that were very close.

That'd be a great idea if it's cost effective.

Does anyone have a picture of the emissions decal? I'd like to replace mine at some point. Thanks!

It is only a small mold, so my cost won't be too much, I have already been thinking of this. What I am worried about is getting my originals out with out damaged them.

When I have scavenged a few of these from the wrecker I have used a small pair of needle nose pliers to compress the tab in the underside and pop them up through the inner fender hole, less damage to the plastic this way I have found.

Got my wire straps from Quiery Design today.
They look real good, some flash to be cleaned but they'll work fine.

This is great news glad to see someone has taken over from Gary, he had a ton of stuff no one else has. Glad they had wire clips.

I wanted to let everyone know I attempted to install these clips yesterday.

I broke 2 of them right away. The "studs" that pressed through fender holes were too large and forcing them into the holes snapped the studs off.
Because I was in "the field" so to speak, I scraped and filed the diameter of the studs down until they could be pressed in firmly. I will be very cautious if I need to remove them because they feel very brittle. Otherwise they look like the originals.

Perhaps just warm them up in hot water before installation?
