In my Chrysler 300 (year 1966), there seems to be a missing cover on the left and right sides of the rear seat bench.

I can only find the lower side filler, but nothing for the upper area.

Does anyone know what should go there?

My 66 SF has a contoured thin brittle plastic filler panel that goes on both sides, I'm guessing your 300 has something similar. I have yet to find anyone who makes a replacement and have had to mend mine in multiple places because they are very fragile not even taking into account 50years added to the equation.

ABC Moparts had these filler pieces available, at least a few years ago. Repo in fiberglass, sturdier than the original pressed fiberboard ones . . .

Looks like they're out of stock at the moment. All of those plastic pieces in the back will shatter if you look at them wrong.

Interesting, never heard or saw anything about that covers. Thx.

Sounds like i have to build something similar on my own.

Lucky me :)

I found 2 intact covers on eBay.

Can someone tell me how were these originally attached?
With which screws or which clips?

Your lucky day! I took mine out to repaint yesterday. When I get back out in the shop later, I'll take some pics.

Yellow circles are your spots for screws. The flange mounts against the door panel.

The middle picture shows a hole in the rear package tray. My car is a '65 and I'm not sure if it's going to be right for your car.

The bottom picture shows the conical washers that held the flange to the door panel. The piece with 2 holes was missing fasteners on my car, so I can't tell you what was in there.
