Mopar only website that does complete exhaust systems

They even have the 300 Hurst tips available...nice; but no Formal exhausts=fail in my book.

Contact them, work with them. You'd be surprised what some of these companies will do.

That one got bookmarked, thanks for the tip.

I have used them and would use them again in a heartbeat over TTI

Can you expand a bit? I've seen a few scattered negative comments about TTI but mostly positive. I'm looking at them for a 2-dr '68 Fury system.

What mufflers does Accurate include in their complete systems? Is it an outside brand or do they make their own?

The ones they sent me (twice :BangHead: ) were unstamped on who made them but they were replicas of the originals in appearance and had a deep tone.

Hmm. Thanks. Original appearance is not a priority for me but deepness of tone definitely is.

These guys advertise in the Mopar mags..... havent heard too much about them though

The beauty of using their mufflers is it's a bolt in affair.
If you want LOUD, you'll have to go elsewhere for the mufflers and hack them up to fit their system which is a dupicate of the stock system.

I think I will go with TTI after all. I like it that Accurate is doing Mopar-only stuff, but it's considerably more expensive than TTI, which is already more expensive than local custom shops. And after watching their videos, I think even their Hemi/HP mufflers are a little too quiet for me.

So which one of their systems is a bolt on for Formals, Commando? My 2 Dr Hdtp is still running factory single exhaust and I eventually want to move to duals with resonators as per the FSM.

Only used them for my slab, Mr. C.
RE: Factory Formal Duals. I researched the bejezus out of that a long time ago. It gets complicated. And frustrating. I finally decided to replicate the factory single (minus the cat) using NOS hangers and saddles.
More than can be discussed here and it would only bore the others. . If you want an in-depth discussion, I'll give you my phone #.

I have had bad experiences with TTI. When trying to install a system on my 71 Roadrunner, the main pipes would not fit. I contacted them and they said they would fit and told me to bend them by pushing up on the end of the pipes, thus putting a huge load on the exhaust manifold flange area. After this same kind of problem occurred on a buddies car, I stopped even considering them. And the mufflers they included in the package sounded like crap to me. And they were not cheap.

Hmm, thanks for the reply. I have heard positive fitment stories from late 1960s folks but I get the sense maybe they do not fit as well on 1970s applications?

Also, sounded like crap how? Tinny? Raspy? Farty? Hollow? Or was the tone ok but the volume was different than you expected?

Dynomax muffs are too much money, flowmasters are loud, maybe a good thing, I have actually had good results summit turbo muffs length is about the same as flowmasters and my favorite CHEAP.

The dynomax mufflers sounded more like "raspy, farty", whereas I like mellow/deep and sharp cut off sounds.
