My 1969 Dodge Polara Wagon

Huge thanks to @amazinblue82 and his friend Bob for this one!.

Again, thanks @amazinblue82 and his friend Bob, who were able to get eyes on the car for me and also pick it up from the seller's property in Michigan.

The Polara is currently under the care of Bob until I can get it shipped out to me.

You worked hard for this car boss ... happy to help you get it.

it'll be in your hands soon and i too am lookin forward to your plans for it.

Bob say's she's ready to go when your transporter calls -- weather permitting this time of year in michigan.

Congrats T-Rev. Good choice and I love the drawing. I can't even draw a good stick figure. Good luck with the project. I'll be watching along with everyone else.

The middle seat and rear door panels look like they will clean up nicely. For the short term I'd bet you'll be surprised how much better this will instantly look, merely wiped down and vacuumed out, with an Indian blanket over the front seats...I'm excited for you!

geez ... how did you get that outta your mailbox? :poke:

seriously, great crate. that's how you ship 'em. nice looking dressed piece too.

yeah, i been hearing about the transport thing .. been dealing with Thanksgiving to St. Patrick's day time frame transports for 30 years in the snow belt. Have had only two (out of the hundreds) "incidents" loading in show. no human injuries - but lost some exhausts/damaged a rocker down low.

it'll be there soon I am sure and then the fun starts. :)

good luck with everything chief.

Finally got the chance to get the 440 out of its crate and indoors.

With the help of a forklift we got it onto a cradle I built out of some shop scrap.

I've gone with @saforwardlook's recommendation and ordered a set of NEXEN PRIZ White Walls for these..

my car still hasn't left Michigan btw..:BangHead:

I am not so surprised that you went with the Nexen tires but moreover that you selected whitewalls! Good for you young man!! I'm impressed! With those wheel covers too! You have great taste...........

It's pretty rare that drivers will do vehicle transport at this time of the year still. You must have found an adventurous one!

Glad to see it in your hands finally.

Side note: That rig setup looks like a deadly crash is inevitable.
