Do you know how weird it is to question perfectly working gauges? I knew the fuel gauge was inaccurate, so I was fine with that. First temp gauge that was in proper working order, and I liked it, not having an erratic gauge is great! The ammeter worked as it should, and again, I'm not used to that. Having one that bounces, and another that is always charging, seeing the gauge operating the way it does when everything is functioning the way it should, actually scared me a little. I started to worry when the system had charged, and the gauge went to the middle, I expected I'd be pulling over and swapping in the spare battery I had in the trunk. Nope, all was good. After Saturday, I was at peace with the car, and the way it operates. Now to just make it a little smoother.
