My new 1972 Imperial purchase delivered today.

Thanks...I'm always nervous around a full gas tank and showering sparks.

Another Thing to think of is gas tank Ventilation. Only through the cap with These models or do you have an open vent line hanging around down there ?
 
I think they may scrape concrete when I pull into cabin driveway so I plan on having shop make adjustments. I don't want to lose any fingers or blow up my garage.:rofl:...and myself.
 
I still got all my fingers after 30 years of Body work, about two years on a daily Basis. It's not that dangerous, but if the shop does it anyways you may grind the teeth of the mechanic for compensation. :D

I'm way more comfortable with flying tooth dust and saliva...than metal shrapnel and explosive flammable risks.

i have used sawzall also and it works well. What I’ve used most is a hacksaw, before I had any fancy tools! Hacksaw works great.
