Finally had a pretty day when I as off work. Realized I hadn't washed this car since I got it. so my brother and I got her washed a quick buff of the paint and a coat of wax.
Just got in the 4 barrel and intake, so that should go on next week.

66 Was originally a 289 car now has a 390 with 3 2 barrels and a reproduction fiberglass hood. I have had her since 86, but hasn't been on the road since the late 90's. That and my 81 Imperial are my next projects.

Yeah, I love the look of the knockoffs too. My brother wasn't too sure of the look but once we got them on, he came around.
Here are some better picks of the Galaxie. Body is mostly solid except the trunk floor, but the driver side frame rail is shot. We are trying to decide whether to repair it or just find a new frame.

68 iz round, 69 iz rectangular. Ive seen many a 68-70 C-body follow the same trend...

I'm not too bad, but my brother is an aircraft mechanic. Seats have a little some heat damage, and I really want to put buckets and a console in it.Interior doesnt look half bad...and she's a full-framed girl, eh? Well, how good iz you at weldin'?

The side trim would look real nice all polished up on yer car...it would add just that extra bit of pop. .02

The side trim is beat all to hell. It did its job and took all the side damage for 50 years. When it comes time to do the body work I'll have to remove it or replace it
