MY Unicorn X RARE 69 Monaco 500 Convertible

I see nothing in the two different list copies of these reports that indicate more than 2 cars
440 High Performance 2
440 Dual Exhaust 2
I don't see either of those listed more than once.
How that is being seen as more than 2 cars baffles me.

Short of seeing a copy of the actual report.

Alan

Two separate line items open to interpretation.

Couldn't you get a 350 horse 440 with dual exhaust though? Why would they list them separately? I'm inclined to believe there's only 2...however I'm generally an optimistic person, and for the sake of discussion...why couldn't there be 4 with how they listed it?
In 69 both versions on the 440 had dual exhaust.

With that logic you'd have to go down the list and add every option, you'd end up with hundreds not 2

I still have my 69 Monaco 500 convertible, but may send it down the road soon. Just a 318 auto, but I am a huge Q5 fan, too bad someone painted it red...

@rhinopar -- can you update us on your Q5 Monaco 'vert? Would you share a photo of the fender tag, and a story of the car as you know it, for historical records?

Well after several years I finally have the 69 Monaco 500 Convertible parts car home. poor old girl is pretty rough but still has some good parts believe it or not. This is what happens when you leave a car out in a field for 14 years!!! Last picture is of where it was sitting for all those years when I first found out about it and saw it!

Thank you for posting -- if you can spare a photo of the fender tag, that would be great!

My 1970 Newport convertible sat on a field for twenty years, however the field was maintained a few times a year, unlike this one. They're painted the same colour too! Must've been one of the colours available for the Maaco specials. All of the clear has peeled off of the top surfaces.
