We definitely know John and Bobby tag teamed Marilyn Monroe. Seems awful funny that the first person called when she was found was Peter Lawford who is their brother in law.

Don't forget Teddy drivin' off a bridge, drowning a girl, and leaving the scene. 1969 .. i recall my Dad saying "that chickensh*t motherf#($*#@" about 20 times in a row .. he never believed the spin.

yeah, the lawford thing. apparently she called Bobby after a tryst, talkin' crazy, and Bobby then called Peter to go see her and the rest is history. That's the legend and myth with truth mixed in .. or maybe its purely that era's version of "fake news" that survives today.

The whole Kennedy family was pretty dirty.

John was supposedly a hero in WWII. In reality, he ended up in the Pacific because he was screwing around with a German spy. While there, he violated a standing order to not take his PT boat out of gear. He did... and couldn't get out of the way of a Japanese destroyer. Killed two of his crew. To Kennedy's credit, he was pretty heroic keeping the rest of his crew alive before they were rescued.

Kennedy was supposed to be court martialed for this, but Joe Sr. pulled some strings and got him made a hero instead.

Joe Sr. also had one of his daughters lobotomized because she was a little slow from birth due to a botched delivery. She was an embarrassment to the family and Sr. had the surgery done. That got botched too and she ended up not being able to walk or talk. The family had her put away in a nursing home and forgot about her.

Yes Joe Sr. was the best example of what not to do. First, he had the biggest affair in Hollywood behind his wife's back, (that is were the boys got it from), Made all kinds of money with the mob running booze during prohibition, manipulated the stock market so badly, it helped with the 1929 crash when he pulled his money out just before everything went south. As mentioned had his own daughter butchered, got in so much trouble in England before the war for helping Hitler. Had the mob influence the election for his son, the list could go on and on. He was a real piece of work.
