Good morning everyone,

I'm new to the whole classic car hobby and I thought I would start off with a classic mopar C body.

This is my 66 Fury III I picked up a month ago from a guy who didn't want to store it for the winter. It's a slightly modified car with the original slant 6. The car has about 109K miles on it and I'm the 4th owner.

I will be doing a disc brake conversion on the car in the spring but in the meantime I thought I'd post some pictures for everyone to see.

Glad to be a part of the community

Cheers

A good first choice... Welcome from another '66 owner.

opps forgot the front shot of the car. I was thinking of maybe getting some chrome pieces to accent the front end. I'm not sure how I feel about the whole front painted...thoughts?

Looks Great! Welcome!
Ontario is big, where are you located?

The front grille isn't the worst we have seen. If I was forced to paint the grille I think I would have chosen a light silver or satin black

Very nice car! Not sure what I'd do with the grill. It's an aluminum stamping so you could selectively remove some paint on certain areas and buff the aluminum. Or leave it as is. It doesn't look bad.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! Love the car, especially the color!

Wow thank you for the kind words, everyone is very welcoming.

I'm in Oak Ridges, so just north of Richmond Hill.

I'm glad the colour is so widely received. It's a 2012 Dodge Caliber Copper so they have all the touch up paint and pens still, I think I will stock up on those. I will be needing to get some info for the disc brake conversion. Fury65 has been beyond helpful in providing me with all the info and links for the conversion. I have currently ordered 73 Newport front spindles. The only area I'm a little confused with is the master cylinder. My car is a column shift and I was told that I have to be careful so as to not interfere with the ability to shift into gears. Does anyone have any info for the proper master cylinder?

Welcome aboard...great car with an even better color, kind of on the fence about the grill,at least he did not paint the bumpers(personal pet peeve) I grew up not far from you in a small town named Gormley...now is a part of Richmond-hill I think.
