New space will fit a couple of C-bodies

We had a good week, both headers in, 2 walls framed and one garage door installed.

Now, a nice 4-poster in there......

I was thinking the same thing when I took that first photo, look at all that room above Goldie. It will probably happen at some point, but not this year. I already have my choice narrowed down. :)

The big door was installed today. It was a big job for a couple of novices, can't say I would recommend doing it yourself.

The door weighs about 450lbs, compared to about 250 for the 10x10 door, but winding the springs is the big job. However we did it and it moves perfectly. Quite glad it is installed.

More progress on the garage. Dividing wall in place, windows installed, all the electrical wiring installed.

Mike, are you going to put in insulation and a vapor barrier to keep the moisture out of there?

Yes all in one. I am going to have the expandable foam sprayed directly to the metal roof and in the walls too, including the other side of the dividing wall. Its going to be tighter than my house. :)

I left the framing an inch away from the block so I will have 4 1/2" on the exterior walls.

Yer gonna be able to heat that place with a lit cigarette. . .

Thank you, I had an immediate problem with the raw lumber against the block
