New tires

I am ordering new tires tomorrow. I picked up some magnum 500s yesterday 15x8 4.5 back space for the rear and 15x7 4.0 back space. Does anyone know how big of a tire I can run with and with out the skirts? This is our first C body so we are new to this body style. Thanks for any help

well my bud did this 66 300 with 8's all around , with 275/60's on them . and we had to modify the skirt mounting for clearance .

I have 275/60/14's on my Polara, not sure the back spacing, not even sure of the width, can't go any smaller with that tire. I have maybe 3/8" inboard before the spring, and I have no room to go toward the quarter panel.
