Guys, just testing the waters to see what is out there. I check Ebay and various sites daily. I need a nice, dependable, C-Body big wagon. Large displacement 383-413-440 engine with working air. I have built an Altered Wheelbase 65 Barracuda and in 2012 I will be traveling with the car to various Nostalgia events. I have a nice Dodge Cummins and enclosed trailer, but plan on a couple of events with the open trailer and a period correct wagon as a tow vehicle. Let me know what is out there, and a price. Thanks...Bob

Cool idea......

Hey Bob..... You might expand your search for one of these..... Perfect for hauling your AWB cuda with an open trailer.

Large Wagon needed

The D200's are way cool. Have you ever driven one a long distance? OMG. I'm so old, I had one in High School. Great thought. I just might expand that search.

Tow Vehicle

I've owned this truck since 2000. I found it in Southern Utah and drove it home to NC, (2200 miles). Since then it has made several trips towing a 15' enclosed trailer to Alabama when I moved, and has been to Chryslers at Carlisle twice, (1700 miles round trip), and I now use it as my daily driver.

The long wheelbase makes for a smooth ride and the 318-auto gets around 12-14 MPG at hwy speed, (4:10 Dana).

When towing the 318 gets the job done, (You get to enjoy the scenery on a grade), but a big block would work better.

Here is a link to a great site for these vehicles.

Good luck with your search

Sorry guys...still looking for the right one. Appreciate the posts. This was going to my junk mail file. Not a bad 67 Polara. Has great potential.
