No left turn signals or hazards

right side works fine but I got nothing when from the left side turn signals. It happened after I dropped the steering column to work on the dash. Is this a bad turn signal switch?

Check your grounds and check for 12v into and out of the turn signal switch.

always check the simples thing first pays off, both bulbs were burnt out. seems to be a strange grounding situation for the rear light that I got to figure out

Did you re- attach the ground wire at the column?
It can be easily overlooked and can cause symptoms you are experiencing.
Simple stuff first.
