Beautiful shot of a 1960 Chevrolet Corvair at the Willow Run Assembly Plant in October 1959. Notice the body is on a fixed rig. Two parts are raised via hydraulics in what was called the "marriage" step. At other GM assembly plants (or other models) the body was lowered to the chassis, called the "body drop" step.
