They could've at least put a scoop over that hole in the hood, or just put an air cleaner on.

I contacted him for some pictures and I posted what he sent me . WOW he wants $16,000 Canadian for this car . Here is a couple pictures of the trunk. It has a hole in the hood , fury 111 back seat side panels, what I think is a tach hanging from the dash by the ignition , he can’t answer any questions about the engine because the previous owner supposedly did the work . IN my opinion he is about $14,000 to high.

He told me his next move was to put a cowl hood scoop on it , a reverse style like on a Camaro. I’m still traumatized.

He’s building it into the most expensive 69 sport fury convertible parts car I’ve ever seen.

He said if he doesn’t get his asking price he will keep wrecking , oops I meant to say: working on it till he gets his asking price. I offered to sell him a hood , proper intake , dash bezel and wiring harness. But he wanted to sell it not buy parts for it. I tried I really tried. You just can’t reach some people.

It is reversible, I have all the parts needed to bring it back with the exception of a paint job to the original colour and new upholstery. But at 16 grand it’s not worth it for me , you would need to get $25,000 for it and that’s a pipe dream. 69 sport fury convertible cars are my thing but you would never get the $25,000 out of this car just to break even.

Wonder if a challenger shaker scoop set would look good or would it disappear in the vast expanse of the hood width and length.A GT HOOD should be the solution maybe.Otherwise a cat is going to crawl in there and get tender vittled by the clutch fan.Oh well.Somebody had an idea without asking.B.B

A GT hood ?

I don't get people like this. Do they think that people are holding themselves back, because the car's not good enough, that they're waiting for the price to go up if he fixes it up a little more? Maybe on a $1000 car that will work, but on $10k+ it won't.

I understand how these things go, so I presume it should be easy for everyone else to understand things too. But maybe I'm the one with the problem. :(
