I have a 69 paint chip card, ques y ion is where these made with actual spray outs of all the avaiable paint choices? Just trying to double check the paint mix on my 69 wagon. Other original paint exists on the car, but age, oxidization will affect the color. Any thoughts

Color chips are a guide. Don't rely on them to be completely accurate especially older ones. Paint manufacturers change formulas from time to time which will vary how the color looks. Before I buy paint for a job I always get a small 2 ounce sample and do a spray out to make sure it's what the customer wants. Certain colors match better with say PPG while other times DuPont will have a better match to the original.

paint chips fade and otherwise discolor over time.

Yes, there are multiple places where the color can shift. Was curious, because it appears as though there might be fine metal flake in the color chip. It is the T7 2032 Saddle Bronze Poly on the PPG chip card. On the Rinshed-Mason chip card T7 is called Saddle Bronze Irid.I was checking the color match on my wagon via Internet trasmitted photo, which has its own problems.I hope to check in person in a couple weeks. thanks for the input
